Puerto Vallarta is such a beauty isn’t it? Have you ever walked in Fluvial Vallarta ‘s beautiful streets? The beautiful blue skies with hints of white clouds, the lush mountains surrounding which define Mexico, the crystal clear waters, the white sands and the beach life style with its fishing, surfing, and great sea food constitute this place as a magical paradise to have your little “escapade” with the ones you love. If you have followed this blog for some time now you know that Our Real Estate Agency Sol y Luna anchors on Fluvial Vallarta Houses for sale and rent, condominiums, villas and gated communities also any other type of Real Estate procedures that may be needed.
SO what are the little details that make this place the Jewel it is? What are some SHOULD KNOWS about this place? 4 fun facts to know about Puerto Vallarta:
- Alcohol Consumption:
Legal Age of drinking and purchase of alcoholic beverages in Mexico is 18 years old (with proof ID). You can get what ever you want in any supermarket, liquor store even corner Miscellaneous convenient stores. It is illegal to be drinking in public streets and to buy or sell alcoholic beverages.
- Legal Documents for entering the country:
Have you ever had it happen to you that you fly in to Vallarta and your first time someone tells you “You don’t have the right legal documents Sir/Miss. Please go to immigration and request X form”- Ugh I HATE that! So good to know advice is that Mexico requires current proof of citizenship, a photo I and a valid Passport. Best to safe-keep all your documents at your house or hotel in a safe.
- Groceries and supermarkets:
If you are here half of the year during the winter and you would like to cook your own meals with your spouse and/or family you will be happy to know that great amenities are close to you! In Fluvial Vallarta we have oh-so loved COSTCO, everybody knows COSTCO so I don’t have to say how important it is to Coto Entre Rios Fluvial residents to have only 5 minutes away! There are more grocery stores and supermarkets all over town.
- Don’t forget!:
Puerto Vallarta is a tourist town, therefore it is also a Walking town. Except for the beautiful lush and paved streets of Fluvial Vallarta, almost all around the city you will find cobble stone roads, uneven pavement and brick lays. So bring comfortable walking shoes keeping in mind the tropical weather. A hat to protect from the sun, and your personal medications and important items of course.
